I must say that I was embarrassed by the turn out at practice tonight. I had talked you all up to my friend, Kristen, the Zumba instructor. She changed up her song list just for us. She even made sure her male instructor friend was there so you boys wouldn’t feel out of place. I felt foolish.
Practice tomorrow at 4:30 at the park. If it is storming, we will cancel. If it is just raining, I still expect you.
Thanks for being so patient guys. I will meet you Friday at 4:30 at our usual spot at the park. Saturday we need to meet at St. Albans City Park at 9:15 or so. We won’t walk the trail because it seems too early to be there since the high school teams run first. We don’t run until 11:00, but I want us there before people actually start to race – they start at 9:30. If it looks rainy, bring a chair and extra clothes, etc. I’ll bring a tent if it looks bad. Everyone beat their PRs again because this course is a little over 2 miles. However, Campbell smashed his PR by at least 3 minutes. Woohoo!
