General Information

General Information:

  1. Make sure you bring water to practice. A hand towel is also a good idea.
  2. Please be on time. I plan to run with you, so you may not be able to find us if you are late. 
  3. Please make sure you have transportation to and from meets and practices. Practice won’t always be at the park because if you want to be good, you must run a variety of places.
  4. Please call if you are running late or can’t be at a practice or meet. If you miss a practice without telling me or miss one the week before a meet, do not expect to run in the next meet.
  5. Practices will be 1 hour unless otherwise noted.
  6. You must have 14 practices completed in order to run in a meet. Before you can practice I must have your physical and drug test forms. I must have your release form (notarized) before you can run in a meet.
  7. If you don’t feel well or get hurt during a practice or meet, please tell me. At the end of the day, you are in charge of how you are feeling. If you are injured, I still expect you to attend meets to support your team.
  8. I expect everyone to follow school rules and to do their best.
  9. Parents are always welcome.
  10. Don’t hesitate to call me or text me with questions or concerns.
